Abstract

Meaning – the unconditional infinity of thinking – is the authentic subject of metaphysics. It is the disclosed ontological reason of the metaphysical constitution. Meaning, as a disclosure, is an identity of understanding and reason, of thinking and being, what the notion of logos expresses. In this way, metaphysics could be considered as a transcendental semantics by its subject and as an ontological hermeneutics by its method.
