Value assignments in experimental environmental ethics

Ulrich Frey

pp. 112-129

Abstract

Among the most pressing problems of our time is environmental protection. Around the world natural resources are dwindling due to overexploitation and degradation — and the loss of biodiversity caused by mankind is unprecedented. Pollution of the air, soil, and oceans has increased dramatically, and rising CO2 emissions are at the top of the global agenda at climate conferences.
