pp. 49-59

Abstract

These days, students in Danish elementary schools are experiencing a greater sense of boredom. In a Danish evaluation (Dansk Center for Undervisningsmiljø [DCUM], 2010), 29% of students in elementary school reported being bored often, and in another more recent evaluation (DCUM, 2014), the number of students who reported being bored increased from 19.3% for fourth- to sixth-grade students to 28.4% for seventh- to ninth-grade students (Wellnitz, 2016, in progress).
