The identities of the things themselves

John Sallis

pp. 183-194

Abstract

I want to propose a certain critical orientation — that is, to begin measuring out the space of a critique of Husserl's phenomenology. "Critique" I understand as an establishing of limits, as a reflection which exposes a position as circumscribed and determined by certain positings. It is a matter of a reflection that would transgress the Husserlian position, that would exceed it in such a way as to expose certain positings as constituting its limits.
