Social work as a social science discipline
some methodological considerations
pp. 95-100
Abstract
The methodology of social sciences addresses questions concerning interpretation, confirmation, and explanation that arise in relation to theories of human society. If social work educators and practitioners are serious about reclaiming science and establishing their field of research as a scientific endeavor, they have to think about the methodological foundations of their discipline.
