Self-organization, valuation and optimization

W. Ebeling

pp. 185-196

Abstract

Following the valoric interpretation of entropy by Clausius, self-organisation is connected with increasing value of the energy inside the system. Starting from this physical process, the essence and the dynamics of other non-physical valuation processes is discussed. The metaphor of optimization strategies is transferred to problem solving.
