Psychoanalytic criticism

pp. 203-218

Abstract

Most psychoanalytic criticism has tended to concentrate on the relation between a literary text and the psychology of its creator. Contemporary psychoanalytic criticism has either shifted the focus to the reader or seen the author's relation to his text in a radically new context.
