Remarks on the hypothesis of hidden variables

F. Pollini

pp. 343-352

Abstract

On the grounds of a formal approach to physical theories, we propose a logical analysis of the hidden variables hypothesis, based on a closer examination of the theorems of Jauch and Piron, Kochen and Specker.A very general definition of deterministic theory is discussed showing how any deterministic reinterpretation of quantum mechanics is incompatible with the mathematical structure of the present theory.
