Nicolò Maggioni

Italy

Collegio FINO

He is a Ph.D. student at Collegio FINO (Italy), a convention between the universities of Turin, Genoa, Pavia, and Oriental Piedmont, but he is also currently enrolling to a “co-tutelle programme” at UCLouvain (Belgium). He spent the years of his academic formation between Italy and Belgium, studying at the universities of Pavia, Milan, and finally Leuven, where he perfected his understanding of phenomenology. His Ph.D. project investigates the relationship between affectivity and sense-constitution in the philosophies of E. Husserl and M. Henry. Beyond the Ph.D., he is also interested in questions about the sense of philosophy in the contemporary world, and the relationship between phenomenology and the history of philosophy.
