Marko Markič

Slovenia

Marko Markič received his Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Ljubljana with a dissertation entitled Temporality as the Foundation of the Relation of Dasein and the World, concerning the problem of the authentic meaning of being-in-the-world in Being and Time and Heidegger’s lectures up to the 1930s. His main research topic is existential ontology of motivation and authentic practice, while his broader research interests encompass the hermeneutics of Aristotelian ontology, the problem of transcendental ontology in Kant and Husserl, Husserl’s phenomenology of practice, and the hermeneutic critique of existential psychology and psychotherapy.
